Filipino First Responder Foundation

Helping save lives in the Philippines

Healthcare providers in the Philippines lack resources to give adequate medical care to their patients.

Our mission is to improve pre-hospital health care in underdeveloped communities by equipping Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and fire departments with life saving medical equipment.

Making change one step at a time

Partnering with volunteer EMS in the Philippines, hundreds of thousands of individuals can get the health care they deserve. We continue to send medical equipment/supplies to these volunteers, and hope to provide training to them in the future.

Ready to take the next step?

You can make a significant impact. Whether you’re most comfortable donating medical equipment, contributing time to help achieve our goals, money to help us grow, or effort to put reach out to our partners, we need you on our team.

The impact doesn’t end with us — it reaches every life we touch and every community we serve.

— Chlary Siador, FedFire EMS volunteer

How We Operate

Step 1: Equipment Donation

We start by obtaining as many supplies and equipment from companies, fire departments or individuals. These donations are most essential for achieving our mission.

Step 2: Fundraising

To cover costs required for transportation, we will fundraise with companies, communities and local events.

Step 3: Transportation

Partnering with trusted shipping companies like Global Cargo Movers, we will ensure the supplies are safely transported to the Philippines.

Step 4: Handover and Distribution

Handing over the equipment will require signing from a higher officer at the EMS unit/fire department such as a ground commander. This will ensure there is no missing or tampered equipment/supplies.

Step 5: Action Reports

We will require monthly or bi-weekly reports from the EMS units, ensuring proper usage of the equipment, maintenance, and obtaining metrics for impact reports.

Step 6: Statistical Analysis and Impact Reporting

Putting together the data from the action reports, we will determine the impact of our efforts to report to donors, and to understand if any changes must be made for future projects.
